Who we are

We are a Community Interest Company (CIC), working with communities, individuals and organisations to turn their environmental values into tangible actions.

We aim to do this whilst highlighting the impacts of modern life on the environment, by identifying and promoting the solutions needed. We seek to shift environmental-social attitudes and enable change by education and skills, public mobilisation, campaigns, events, public affairs and storytelling.

 

Building on the ever-growing environmental awareness across society, we set out to define and deliver projects to educate, inform and inspire all sectors, from schools and community groups to businesses and public sector organisations, equipping people with the skills, knowledge and space to become “environmentally smart”. 

These opportunities range from hands-on projects such as:

• planting trees
• using citizen science to identify biodiversity in local areas
• learning skills to recycle or repurpose materials
• interacting with green projects to reduce energy needs
• greenhouse gas emissions and waste in the local environment and how these connect to our wider world.

We hope to encourage communities to take an active role and ownership of the environment around them.
